The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) market is hotly contested as vendors jostle for mindshare and enterprises struggle to manage security on employee mobile devices. Our client, Good Technology is a secure mobility provider positioning against major competitors AirWatch, MobileIron and Citrix XenMobile.

Our mission: Grow share of voice (SOV) with a powerful communications campaign.


Strategy

Our plan was to build a robust program to propel the client from third place to first in SOV, despite the increasing competitor activity.

Central to the campaign was the quarterly Mobility Index Report. This looked at how mobile technology could be applied for security and productivity in the enterprise. We found topical story angles within each quarter’s results and gained massive media coverage for the findings.

Results

Good Technology surpassed its competitors SOV exactly one year after the campaign began. By the next quarter, SOV was 38%, way ahead of all competitors. The campaign maintained the lead for seven consecutive quarters until the company was acquired.
